此作品象徵務實猛幹的牛年，空想變幻的鼠年就是反思的對象，而小城對未來的無奈正影照著天下對將來的不安，在陣陣危機鈴聲中，危機還沒有完全甦醒，局中人也還沒願意正視末路的來臨。期望能籍此作品能引起觀眾反思，喚起共鳴，實用的共鳴，如題目所示，此作品就是能量，是糧食，是實幹牛的養命美食。
The work symbolizes the pragmatic and hardworking year of the Ox, while taking the elusive and changing year of the Mouse as an object of reflection. Macau’s helplessness towards the future reflects the world’s worry about the times to come. In the bell ring of crisis after crisis, crisis itself is not fully awake yet. Players are not yet willing to face up to the approaching of the end. Through this work I hope to draw audience’s reflection and arouse resonance – praticable resonance. Just as the title shows, the work is energy, food, the food to sustain the pragmatic oxen.
